ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES

We offer bespoke Key Stage 1 and 2 programmes tailored specifically for learners who are encountering challenges related to exclusion or are at risk of exclusion. Our Re-engage and Inspire Programme serves as a revitalising educational intervention, guiding learners towards successful reintegration into school life.

MATHS
We focus on accelerated progress in arithmetic fundamentals, employing hands-on activities, visual aids, and dynamic teaching styles to lay a robust foundation for advanced mathematical concepts.
ENGLISH
We adopt a comprehensive approach emphasising grammar to enhance writing fluency and intelligence, coupled with reading activities designed to spark interest and curiosity.
EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
We provide challenging yet beneficial experiences within and beyond the classroom to foster personal growth and self-expression. Our activities include creative tasks, reflective exercises, stimulating workshops, and physical activities, empowering learners to explore their potential freely.

Being with the same learners everyday can be a challenge. It is our responsibility to create opportunities for the learners to develop positive relationships that support each others’ journey on the programme.
Staying Active
Physical activity benefits the body and mind. We ensure that our learners partake in physical activity every day to help manage their physical and mental health, improving their performance in and out of the classroom.
Responsibility
Life skills are important for all young people. We assign a range of responsibilities to the learners collectively and independently. Having a sense of independency can really help learners mature across all areas of their lives.

We uphold the same behavioural standards as mainstream classrooms while understanding that our learners face unique challenges. We adapt our approach to ensure that learning remains enjoyable and engaging for every learner.

PRIMARY
Case Study

Jacob, a Year 5 learner was referred to Nulogic due to academic struggles, frequent disruptive behaviour, and challenges with social interaction at his mainstream primary school. Below is a summary of his progress before, during, and after attending our programme.

Academic Progress

Before: Jacob was disengaged and falling behind in core subjects, particularly in Maths and English. He struggled to keep up with his classmates and was at risk of further academic decline.
During: With personalised support and small group learning, Jacob’s confidence in Maths and English grew. His focus improved, and he began to grasp key concepts he had previously missed.
After: By the end of the programme, Jacob’s reading and maths skills had improved, placing him closer to his age-appropriate level and boosting his overall academic confidence.

Behavioural Progress

Before: Jacob often exhibited disruptive behaviour, which led to multiple detentions and time spent out of the classroom.
During: Through one-on-one mentoring and structured behaviour support, Jacob’s conduct improved significantly. He learned coping mechanisms to manage his frustration and began participating positively in class.
After: Jacob returned to school with greater self-control, resulting in fewer behavioural incidents and improved focus during lessons.

Attendance Progress

Before: Jacob’s attendance was 40%, as he often avoided school due to feelings of frustration and disconnection.
During: His attendance at Nulogic improved to 95% from , reflecting his growing sense of belonging and responsibility.
After: Upon returning to his mainstream school, Jacob maintained consistent attendance, demonstrating a renewed enthusiasm for learning.
